98 z28 front wheel speed sensor
wassup guys i need a new front wheel speed sensor for my z28.where do you guys recommend i get it.i called chevy its $450.00 from them,$163.00 from Autozone. and both i believe are part of the hub assembly.i was also told it could be a bad wire or plug to the sensor.If anyone has ever changed one or knows what i should check for please let me know...Thanks.

98% of the time its the wheel speed sensor which is part of the hub and bearing assembly. If you get a cheap one, then good luck. I know of a few people that have had multiple replacements. My buddy is on his 6th hub/bearing from Tires Plus in one year. The ones they use are crap.
On the flip side, I put a $99 hub/bearing on my sis-in-law's '97 Cutlass and it lasted just fine for 3 years until she sold the car.
