black- 98 z28
Is a 98 Z28 with 90k worth 3500.00?
I know what the book says its worth, but i have the oppurtunity to purchase a 1998 black Z28 with 90,000 miles. It is a t-top car with cloth interior. It has good paint all the way around, but has a significant dent in the passenger quarter panel. The car has the ground effects kit (like a trans am), with the raised spoiler and air dam in the front. The air works, and the car runs well. What do you guys think? Thanks and have a great day. I have to make a decision tonight, so let me know..

thats pretty cheap for a ls1. if u have the money, replace the fender and repaint the car and you should still be ahead.

Navy Blue Metallic- 1998 Camaro SS
I would try to find out how bad that dent is on the rear quarter panel...if it is too banged up it may be a case of replacing the rear quarter panel...which can't be too cheap. Is it an auto or m6?

For $3500 that's a steal...no doubt. Automatic or 6-spd, it's still an LS1 car with a good paint, good interior. Even if it is a worse case scenario and you have to replace the rear quarter panel, there are several affordable panels available from the aftermarket. With a good body shop and good painter your looking at roughly $4500 spent total. That's a steal.
Like mentioned above, make sure to Carfax though, and have an experienced mechanic check it out before purchase!

The sports appearance package is a find. You can get 700 bux for that alone. That is a rare 98.

Quick Silver- 2002 Z06
Sounds like a good deal!
Check around for some body shop pricing but I would grab the car if I was looking for one.

black- 98 z28
I got it!!! Anyone know where I can find parts?
I Got the car, 98 with 90k, Z28 auto with sport appearance package, and I need the front passengers air dam peice that goes under the nose. I know this is a rare peice, since most of them dont have this air dam, but if anyone could help, please do so. The car is a 98 Z28 with slp ground effects(like a t/a) all the way around with a taller spoiler on the back(not annoyingly big), that just mounts on top of the normal one. Anyone know where I can get this front peice? Also, this is my first ls1, what does the oil pressure normally read at idle? It seems a little low. Thanks everyone for replies on the purchase of the car, it really helped!!!

Wow its been a long time since I posted here. I have a 98 Z-28 with 52,000 miles im thinking about getting rid of . What do you think is a fair street price for it ? The tint has been removed to pass NJ inspection .

Black- 2002 Camaro SS M6
for $3500, i would check to make sure the engine is still under the hood, and if it starts, then i would definitely take it.
even with body work, you will be looking under $5000, and thats a worst case scenario estimate.
