A lot of factors at play in my car.

    1. I have a lot of weight removed...HVAC system, AC system, power steering, spare tire, rear seats, etc. This means that there is not a lot of weight coming down on the rear.
    2. My car is slammed in the front (3" drop with coilovers), but my rear is at stock height. As a result, a lot of the weight of the car is transferred to the front of the car. Also, there is a lot of travel between the car and the rear.
    3. I usually don't travel down roads that would bottom my car out. She's a highway/backroad warrior, not a city goer.
    4. No fat chicks

To answer the question...I never bottomed out, and if I did, I would cringe and move on.

Do you think that will affect braking at all? I don't think so, but was wondering what your thoughts were.
    It's on jackstands.

I have no idea. Doesn't matter now. The rear will be sitting on coilovers as well and will be REALLY low all around.

No, the bumpstops are there to stop the body from bottoming out on the rear end.
