Black Z06 Wheel sizes?
What would you get? Are there any rubbing issues with any of the sizes I posted in the poll? I think Black is going to look sick!

Shit, I would go 18x11 out back. Actually, that's what I will hopefully be doing next summer. Except I'm going with the aluminum polished lip.

i think that 18x10.5 is the biggest they go. i would just go with the 18x9.5 all the way around so i could get em rotated.

Nope, you could go 11" all the way around is what I'm told. I just asked a few days ago in another thread, and there is a guy running 17x11 on all 4 corners.

That is why I ordered 2 more 11x17 this year after researching what is needed.
Eugenio helped me through it all and this season with the ability to rotate the r-compounds should last a bit longer.
With the 9.5x17's the fronts were finished have way through the season.

I would go with the 18x9.5 and 18x10.5. Thats the setup I have and I love it. I got black wheels with a polished lip. Ive gotten many compliments. You would be happy with em.

I've been trying to like black wheels, but they just look cheap and not good to me. I give props for being different from stock, but just can't get myself to like them. The silver lip does look a little better though. I'd like to try the 18x10.5's all around out. I have 18x9.5 on all 4's right now.

I have a friend with 315's on his TA. I test fit the rears on my Z28 and I would really have to modify the the inner fender well with a BFH for them to fit. That is what he did but his car is alot older and track only.
You guys have some beautiful cars. CA (canada) guys, how hard was it to fit the 315's? What exact wheels did you use? Did you use any spacers?
Thanks for any info.
Check out www.comscc.com this spring. We run driving schools and Time Trials at Mosport and MT Tremblant. I'll give you a shout when the schedule is out.

Since you mention 315s and Canada guys... chances are you are referring to me.
I have 17x11 AFS ZR1 wheels (+50mm offset) on all 4 corners.
For the rear... it's common knowledge... BFH massage-therapy + cutting half of the bumpstops and roling a bit the fender in just in case.
For the front... just grinded a little "appedix-like" piece sticking out of the spindle (just in case) and plug and play. With stock front-end brakes and all, I used 7/32" spacer... some use 1/4" and that's it... now with the Porsche brakes, i need no front spacers.
btw, when you come to Tremblant... let me know... It's close by... I'll join you ... love that track !

Thanks for the info. If I move out of the SS class I'll want the big tires.
I will post the COMSCC schedule when it comes out.
It would be nice to get some more F-bodies out there.
