Hey, I just got My 2006 GTO and I was wondering what the Best Exhaust is for it?

Homemade. Best of each "package" exhaust all cut and custom fit.
This is my signature. It is mine. Nobody else has one like it.

I love the stock sound. Not too loud, but has a great muscular tone. My opinion is to leave it alone.

I really like Spintechs exhaust. The side exit one sounds really good they offer too in my opinion.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

SLP LoudMouth II, and leave the resonators on, just buy the mufflers and have the stock ones cut off and replaced with LMII, It won't be real loud, but a very smooth, deep tone and louder than stock, but It will just barely noticeable in the cab.

Silver- 2004 GTO
It depends on what you want. If you want loud, raspy, exotic muscle car sound the SLP Loudmouth is the way to go. Here are some clips of mine with the SLP LM I and Kooks headers:
You might also want to check out this thread on ls1gto.com with a bunch of different exhaust sound clips:

Metallic Black- 2006 Pontiac GTO
I just removed the mufflers. It does backfire whenever I decelerate. But if you do it just right coasting down the road it sounds like a thunder storm. It sounds sort of like a nascar stock car when your full throttle. Very loud but not too loud. I havn't been pulled over yet.
I like it.
