Z06 ate me alive...

So me and a buddy of mine were comin back from the car show @ the pavillions here in phoenix and I ended up next to a C6 Z06

in the left turn lane at the light. Its a two lane left so he rolled down his windows and says "hey that thing sounds pretty nice". I returned the compliment and asked him what all he had done to it. He claimed it had spray (150 shot) and I just said I was extremely jealous lol. So anyway the arrow turns green and we just kinda cruise out of the intersection. (this particular street is always dead after 10pm so I know whats comin next) We both straighten out and I catch up to him @ about 40mph in fourth, he looks at me as I downshift into 2nd for the pull. I swear to gawd the last thing I heard outta my car was the downshift. The vette also grabbed 2nd and it sounded mean as hell, nearly creamed my pants. Of course he walked me pretty fuckin hard and by the time I was at the end of 3rd (95-100) he had me by maybe 5 or 6 lengths already.

We both started backin off and slowin down to cruisin speed and we gave eachother the thumbs up.

So yeah he kicked my ass but I still had fun seeing how well my car did against one...

theres a rich mommas boy down the road from and he got a new 07 shelby, he was talkin shit about my ride. So last night i caught him out and i just happened to have the slicks, i covered him by at least 10 or 12 cars. He was pissed flipped off and when i went by his house this morning he must have crashed out later that night because the right was beat up and muddy.

Those things are F-n quick. There were two of them (C6 Z06s) at the drag strip (1/4 mile), a couple of weeks ago. One of them ran a 11.8 sec. and the other one stumbled off the line, but still ran 12.7 sec.

Shelby what, Shelby GT500 or a Shelby GT? Got any track times or do ya just street race? Give us somethign to go by. A Shelby GT is only 325 HP.

I got destroyed by a C5 Z06, I could only imagine what it would be like to behold the FURY of the LS7!!!

Probably one of the most enjoyable deaths ever, I'm jealous!
