RED- 2002 FORMULA
Guy want to race!
Have 2 employees that want to race. First guy has a 2008 mustang GT with a "roush kit". What is a aftermarket roush kit. Sounds like a couple of stickers to me. Seconf guy, I might not even waste my time, has a 87 firebird. Proably a LG4. I am running a 2002 Formula LS1 with a cold air kit, coolant bypass....thats about it. Dont get much free time to play. I dont even know what size throttle body of LBs of injectors. I have had a year, maybe 5,000 miles if that.

Roush Stage 1 is just a body kit. They usually have the Stage # on the rear center emblem. If you're wondering what size TB you have, 78mm is stock. I think your 1st MOD should be a full exhaust. Good luck w/ the races man.

I thought they bumped up the HP of the Roush's to 325 as well. Nothing to worry about, but I do believe the had a slight HP advantage on the stock GT.

shouldn't be a problem with an 02. My 01 was good for 13 flat all day, and the rare 12.9. new gen GTs with light mods (ie the rousch car) are upper 13s with a rare 13.5.
If you have an auto you're safe. If a manual you will have to drive pretty well to make it work...(from my experience...the wife took the 01 a4 to 13.1 too, just mash pedal, nothing else).

yeah and im telling him for the few extra horses and the extra weight they have those things are not all that
even if he gets beat by it big whoop it is supercharged
but he could be like a few i know and beat the driver
who cares if you get beat there is always someone faster than you go race them have a little fun if you win great if you lose who cares
i like to have a challenge myself, why race a car you know you will beat

a stigma to uphold?we dont have to uphold any stigma our cars speak for themselves and everyone knows it including these guys that spent way more money than us
so basically you are saying you only race cars you know you can beat which is not cool,i get really tired of beating all the slow cars and wish the faster ones would come out to play more often,i know they are there i have seen afew but it is just hard to get lined up with one

yeah we have to uphold that we're not some scared shit talkers, race him practice your launch and you'll be good. My boys 07 gt with intake, high flow cats xpipe, and catback still couldn't hold up with my 98 ss i have slp lid and exhaust your hawk will roast him as long as it's not supercharged. Then if it is see how he doesn't beat you that bad and laugh because all that shit on his and he barely beats you don't be afraid of any race.
