I forget the RPO code. I'll get it for you though.

WS6 for the Trans AM WU8 for an SS. It's in the door jam.

Some of the stuff you got on a WS6:

32mm front sway bar 21mm rear bar

Revised rear bump stops with an aluminum spacer.

    Engine oil cooler,power steering cooler.

17x9 painted Aluminum Silver 5 spoke Rims for 98

17x9 Polished Aluminum 5 spoke Rims for 99+ (Funny looking salad shooter option for 2001 only)

Ram Air Hood and Air Box with Ram Air decals on hood and air lid.

    I could be forgetting something.

    W22? no RPO code for LS1 Firebirds/Camaros

And honestly having a WS6 is not a big deal for me unless you're trying to stay pure. Only advantage to having a WS6 is getting the Ram Air hood. Everything else that makes a WS6 has been replaced with far better stuff than stock. In regards to the hood, in the next 2 wks I'll have a better and meaner looking hood. (WSQ hood form VFN)

The rpo codes are on a sticker on the drivers door near the locking mechanism.

what he said...only thing I might like to have on my non ws6 trans am is the power steering cooler and oil cooler...but suspension wise you can buy way better stuff fairly cheap that will run circles around a ws6 performance package...

Wrong on the engine oil cooler, no such thing from the factory on any LS1 F-bod. Correct on the PS cooler, this was unique to the WS6, SS and Firehawks up until '01-'02 then all LS1 f-bods got it.

Wrong on the painted 17x9 rims for '98, you are thinking of the '96s. WS6 rims were "high polished" aluminum (not painted) from '97+. YEP on the "salad shooter" optional rims in '01, and different standard rims (wider spokes) in '01-'02.

You are forgetting the better flowing exhaust unique to WS6 & SS cars, a 3.5" SOTL in '98, and more restrictive 2.5" duals '99+ to meet new noise regs. SLP offered other exhaust options on SS and Hawks.

First time I've heard of different bump-stops in the rear, could be, not sure why though. WS6s also got higher rate springs and better De-Carbon shocks up until early in the '00 MY production when GM reverted back to standard T/A suspension on WS6s (only sways and wheels were different at that point).

Also, if the car was an A4, the 3.23 rear was a "mandatory option" on WS6s & SSs.
