Headers separating from block (with pics)
Well I'm thinking this might be causing an air leak and causing my O2s to demand more fuel and burning through fossil fuels like its FREE! (Big pictures can zoom in, and separation is obvious)

those look warped to me....hard to tell in the pics though. Have you tried to tighten the bolts on them although they only get torqued to 22 ft/lbs so don't go nuts on them.

Orion thats what I was thinking... How bad is that? I've never dealt with warped ones, in person that was my first observation is they looked warped. I assume you have to just replace them, are there negative effects of driving the way they are, its like that on both sides.

first make sure they're leaking...can you hear them leaking? There looks to be some soot around some of the primaries but it's hard to tell if that's soot or dirt. If they are leaking they'll do exactly what you said in your first post.....they'll create a false lean and your car will be super rich. You'll just have to replace them.

Used to have Jethot. They're basically Hooker with a thicker flange. Also I've experienced that you should tighten the header bolts before the y-pipe
I like work. It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.
