Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
pics of my car.
Here are a few pics of my car, i'm putting them on here for the first time. They are a poorer quality cuz they were taken on my phone. Once i get a decent camera i will work on taking better pics in better places.
And here is one of my dads cars i though i would throw in here since it was on my phone. '72 Z-28

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
It's wrapped up for the winter but come spring i will take more pics of it and his other cars.
He bought that car from some dude on the side of a mountain. Car sat outside for 10 years. Motor was in the trunk, tranny in the back seat and the doors were laying across the front seats. My dad put new floors in, new quarter panels, new trunk. Full resto and painted the car himself. Has a muncie 4 spd and 12 bolt posi. Fuckin car chirps the tires into 4th gear. I will get a vid of him doing burnouts too.

lol well my cars exterior aint that nice but with my 350 vortec heads m-22 trans and a 10 bolt posi with 3.90's i too can chirp them tires into 4th, it was a modern day miracle in high school, no one belived me until they all saw for them selves when i smoked the "bad ass"
turbo is300, i smoked him and chirped 4th, it was the talk of the town lol, ahhh i love those days, what i wouldnt give to go back to high school , good times

well i guess it depends on tires and gears,
there is no way in hell i can do even 3rd in my 02, i have 295's back there and my car is stock.
not to call anyone a liar but i doubt that is possible without 400+ hp to the wheels on bald tires, were talking chirping a direct drive gear is damn near impossible unless your burning all they way thru 3rd

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
hence my last question to him.
Lol funny thing is my dad does burn all the way through 3rd but doesn't have to just to chirp 4th. The other thing is my dad doesn't push in the clutch when he's really racing it hard. When i ride with him it's insane the way he drives. I don't know how the tranny and motor hold up. Its a rock/stone crusher 4spd, and the ZZ4 motor i will give it a lot of props since it takes his punishment.

Well, it was easy enough before the 100 shot too. Mods are cutout, the K and N set up, short throw and a clutch. Besides those few things its all stock. I had a 97 Z with the LT1 that I could do the same in. It was harder, but all you have to do is be damn quick, and not really let off the gas.
