paint rims or not???
hey guys im bored.... i havnt decide if i wanna do this or not.. i want to paint my rims flat black but im confused if its gonna look good with black rims.. should i do it ?
im a bout to start doing it right now. i wanted to get opinions 1st..
with the old rims.. only zo6s in the back
right now with zo6s all around
let me knw what u guys think..

It's all about what YOU like. Personally I like them both, but if I had to pick, I would probably go with painting them black.

I like it both ways too.
That's the reason I'm confused. But I think I'll go with black. I'll post pix when I'm done00 ss blk m6 " STOCK" strano springs, slp bilstein shocks, adj LCA, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, 2 point SFCs welded,OEM zo6 rims black, magnaflow exhaust, CME exhaust,E/cutout, slp grille, custom front plate mount, HIDs, whistler mod, side moldings delete, slp air lid, ported and polished TB, strut tower brace, 3.73s gears, and some other parts to list!
next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..
02 tahoe Z71 blacked out
00 jeep grand Cherokee limited on 22s.

Black wheels are for trucks,,,but that's just me.
Frankly, the only wheels that should be painted on a car are wheels made of steel.
But hey,,,,it's your car,,,personalize it the way you like and enjoy it.

this are my calipers and rotors now... i want to pain the calipers again but i been thinking on painting the rotors black,,, the center of course and the edge on the out side of the rotor.. and the lines on the inside of the rotors (slotted?) paint them red or black since they have some rust already.. what you guys think?? thanks

while i was painting the rims i decided to do this.. let me knw what u guys think,,, doesnt look professional but is just for now.. ill be replacing them with clear corner lights.. the need lights need to be polished out..
i think i went to dark...lol..
the rear blinker were chrome so i painted them black too..
the paint on the hood is coming off.. but soon is goin to the shop for paint..
i got the platez before it went to the shop..not good..

looks good imo. You just spray them with black spray paint and if so does it let the light through it so you can see it?

Thanks bro.
I used paint for the lights.
It's special paint for that. I did, the tail lights, headlights and blinkers on my friends truck. It looks good.
The light still visible. At nights u can't notice the paint is there
On mine the light still goes thru the paint.
