WTB: Stock 4-channel rear end with 3.42's
I basically want everything between the axle flanges, and behind the driveshaft. It needs to have 40k miles, or less... the less the better. Everything (particularly bearings) must be in great working order. Backlash needs to be between 0.005-0.009". Pictures are a must, especially inside housing.
I'm willing to pay $400 shipped... but that could go up and down varying by distance. I'm in 80526, (Northern Colorado)
Thanks!!!"Nemo me impune lacessit."

I will have to see many detailed pictures... but I could probably go with 525 for the whole thing. Sorry for the late reply, I was busy yesterday afternoon and evening.
You can email me at falcon9r9r@hotmail.com.

well for me to go through getting it to the local frieght hub and all i wont take less than 575 so if you are willing to do that i will get the pics to you just let me know. i took it out of the car with less than 3k on it to put a moser in its an auburn rear with 3.42s and was a 900.00 option over the stock rear so 575 shipped is the lowest i will go

I didn't realize it had the Auburn... and if it genuinely has only 3k miles, then I could probably do $575... If you could please go ahead and send pictures that'd be much appreciated! Did you take it off a 'hawk, and if so, what year?

Pictures of both flanges, the U-joint, several of the housing, and cover, and since it shouldn't be shipped with fluid, the inside of the housing, and a decent closeup of the gears, if you please.
Also, a couple more questions, please feel free to PM or email me responses:
Was the vehicle involved in a wreck or accident while the rear end was installed?
What was the car used for and was it ever taken to the track, or did you ever leave a light excessively hard, or snap the clutch?
What did you do as far as maintence while it was on the car?
Why did you take it off, and swap to the Moser?
How did it act and sound at the time?
What have the storage conditions been like?
Thanks!

Cool, I'll consider it... but all the same questions I have posted in this thread apply to anything I'll consider buying. Thanks!

To be honest, I've only had the car since Friday. I'm swapping it out because I know it will break with all of the parts I'm about to put on. I won't ask for too, too much, you'll be doing me a favor!

Ok, well do you know anything about the previous owner(s)? Can you send pictures? What's the condition of the car itself?
Thanks

The car is stock, and I mean STOCK. Not even a K&N filter. Factory everything.

Once the rear end is out of the car I'll send some pics if you haven't already purchased one!

Thanks! What happened to the exhaust? I'm gonna have to look into a couple things about the 3.23's regarding performance in a 6-spd, and/or changing to my gears (which I believe are still ok) and in the meantime I'm waiting on a reply from closs2xs. If I can find out the questions I posed, then that's what I'm leaning towards right now, unless you plan on cutting a completely un-refusable deal, which would hardly do you any favors.
How many miles are on the car?

I dropped it off @ Grubbs Motorsports with 89,729 on the clock. The, uh, former owner, for whatever reason, decided to cut off the exhaust after the cat. I'll make you a good deal if you still need one.

Yes, it has TCS, 3.23's, and it's a 4-channel. Got the moser to the shop yesterday so it should be out of the car by friday or monday!
