WTB: LT1 Stock Aluminum Heads
I'm looking to buy a good pair of stock LT1 aluminum heads. Give me
some details on what you have and how much you want?
Thanks,
Dave.

I have a set pending in NC for $125.00 and 2 sets local for
$175.00 and $200.00. The advantage in local is I get to
see them before I buy them. My goal is to get a set to
take to Lloyd Elliot for his LE2 package.
If these deals fall through, I will give you an offer.
Thanks for your reply,
Dave.

Yeah I would give them to you for $100.00 but shipping is the bitch of it. If you know someone who will pick them up you could do that ...

Both local deals fell through. The first set was off a 97 (561 castings) so
I passed on those, and the second set were damaged. One head was
cracked from the end cyclinder to the water jacket, and the other was
missing a 1" x 1/8th chunk between the two inner cylinders.
97formulaws6...what casting numbers on the heads you're selling?
Dave.

374s were 93-94
643s were 95-96
561s were 97 only. These heads have less aluminum, so you can't port
them as much. For me, I need a set to port so not looking for 561s.
I also need good cores to start with. I have already seen a set that
were overheated and cracked. What condition are your cores in?

Please give me the casting number from the top of the head. Are these
still stock? Any trouble that I need to know about like cracks, over
heating, or damaged valves, etc?
Also, please post pictures.
Dave.
