2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
Unknown Badge
I was stuck in traffic today and a red 98-02 puleld up beside me, i only got to see the rear of the car, but i think it had a set of silver ZR1's. There was no SS or Z badge on the back, but under the left tail light, there was a chrome one, bold lettering that said either TYE or TVE, about an inch high, and 3 inches long. does anyone know anything about that, or did this kid just have some weird sticker.

I'd laugh if it was "SVT"...
...probably an "SLP"?

It was the same font and style as an SVT emblem, but it definitely started with a T and ended with an E

TYE is a GM RPO for Fleet Sales - think I've seen them on trucks?....might have been something else. Saw a Z28 a couple months ago where someone put a GTO 5.7 badge under the left tail light. Also know someone with a twin turbo and has an Audi TT emblem under his LR tail light.

i had a 99 firebird.. yes they are that slow........ haha.. mine ran a 10.6 at like 65 or something like that... but there is a kid at our track that has a sixer that is running like 9.2.. hes got a cam and some other stuff.. N/A though.....
they can beat most things on the road. for the most part.. but when you start talkin about being fast... they shouldnt even be mentioned... haha.

Well thank you, i appreciate that. I dont really have any plans for performance mods on it, possibly an exhaust, but thats only if something screws up with the factory one, Ive decided to invest cosmetically. Over spring break its getting a hardcore makeover, ill post pics then.
painting the inside of the headlights...the black part...
fixing the holes from a front license plate, and repainting
possibly painting the interior pieces
new tail lights
new fog lights
strut tower brace install
polish and wax
maybe some tint work, mines peeling
