Motor goes boom
First I want to thank Misfit for helping me out today getting the car out there.
We put in the junk 572 yesterday/early this morning and went out to do a few passes in the car. First pass, I crossed the 1/8 heading down and heard a boom, car started to shake. Ran a 8.008 letting off and shutting down. Looks like I took out 4 or 5 pistons are gone. Never got to hit the second or third kit. Oh well, looks like the big motor is ready finally. Gonna put that in now and see whats up.

what is a big cube motor if a not a 572? I mean I know there is larger custom built engines(632 Pontiacs etc.) and I am assuming this the Gm crate motor that runs around 12-17K, and you have 3 of them? And they are all grenaded? and what size is the engine you are waiting on? boy I wish I had your money. What kind of car are/was these engines in?
