Nitrous Question
I currently put 422 to the wheels. My question is, would a 100 wet shot be too much for the stock lower end? I would spray between 4000 and 6000 rpm. Just curious.

You'll be fine as long as the A/F ratio is correct. That small window of 2000 rpm isn't necessary either. Plus you would be ok with 150+. That stock bottom end can handle 600+hp to the tires.........
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Cool, thats what I needed to know. I guess the speed bug bit again. What timing do you guys run with nitrous and what is the a/f ratio, would 12.6/1 be proper with like 25 degrees timing wot.

Start with the rule of -1 deg for every 25 it will be safe on the timing then add it back as needed. AF is tricky you need to look at the plugs. what does the car make peak tq and pk hp at a/f wise? also what does the car run its best MPH at?

It made 422rwhp and 384rwtq with a/f at 12.6. I have not had it to the track yet.

When you tune for nitrous, what do you tune exactly?

The A/F ratio and pull timing if needed. If you are on the stock timing still your fine with the AutoLite AR-94's plug I refer to alot gapped at .038.
You also want to close down the spark plug gap due to the added cylinder pressure of the nitrous.
You also need to monitor the fuel pressure while tuning to make sure you are not seeing a drastic initial drop due to the opening of the fuel solenoid.
As cheap as Walbro pumps are now($100) I always put a 255 pump in.
Hope that explained it to were you understand.

Thats what I needed to know. I am running 42# svo's right now for injectors, but I will check the feul pressure also when i get that far. I will also check out the timing, I am not sure where it is right off hand. Thanks for the help. PS I love your avatar by the way.
