Black- 06 Chevy Caprice HT (RIP)
Decent Air Filters
Alas Mr Naf has another observation that wouldnt normally happen in "Ideal Conditions"
I Presently own a AEM Brute force for my Tahoe, and today while modifyin the intake system i noticed a thin line of fine dust in my intake manifold...
Not a pretty sight if you love your car...I already have a drycharger on the way, but has anyone had this experience before?
I also noticed K&N, Fram AirHogs, Airaid filters also let the fine stuff pass through...
Should i be concerned or throw caution to the wind?
My modification included the coatin of the intake pipe with undercoating along with the throttlebody, airbox, and spacer...I obviously sprayed everything off of th vehicle and allowed to cure for a decent amount of time...I then wrapped the intake tube with exhaust wrap for my proper wrap is also on its way...
Lookin forward to your replies
Naf
