Question A/C wont blow out of dash vents

well i havent really messed with it because i never use the a/c on my car but today i was checking it out and the vents in the dash wont blow air. the defrost and the floor vents will but nothing when i switch it to the middle ones. im assuming that this had been like this since the cam and head install. i checked the back of the intake and it looked as though all the vacuum lines were hooked up so im stumped at what it could be? any suggestions?

My vacuum check valve broke on the passenger side close to the firewall and caused the same thing. Assuming what you checked were the lines that go behind the engine to the AIR solenoid, you may have missed that valve

Don't mind the filthy engine bay. It's the 3 way valve directly to the right of my hood strut. It has a clear top but the old one was solid black. Mine was obviously broken but if you have someone help, you could pull each of the lines that don't go through the firewall and block it off at the valve. If your hvac controls start working then you know which line to follow for your problem. Like I said my valve was clearly broken so all I had to do was replace it.

    Hope this helps
