Blue 1997 Trans Am(Sold)- Pewter 2001 Trans Am Vert
Polished VS Chrome
I realize that by posting this up I'll likely just get what most people have rather then what is actually better.
But anyway the question is with everything else equal if you have the choice to have your wheels polished or chrome which would you prefer for appearance. Cleaning them isn't a big deal for me as I wash my car often and its not a dd.
I just want to know that a polished wheel can look as good if not better then a chrome one.
thanks guys.

I've always been a fan of chrome, but, a side from my Craigers, I've always preferred polished.
I think it depends on the car and the wheels too.
My 69 Chevelle had chrome Craigers. My 69 1/2 Chevelle had polished Centerlines. Loved them both

Chrome is definitely more reflective, and easier to clean. However, with some time and patience polished wheels can look just as nice. I personally prefer polished, cuz I like to clean my wheels

These are stock WS6 Speedlines that I stripped the clearcoat off of. Some people think they're chrome

You cannot match a nice set of polished wheels outside...Chrome IMHO is sorta plastic looking...I love the way polished wheels show up in the sun light. PITA to shine up though, but well worth it.

We all have different preferences and my personal choice will be polished wheels. I have never been a fan of shimmery or shiny rims.

My chrome Torq Thrust wheels are from 4wheelonline, and I just use car wash soap to clean them. Yes, they are flashy and I really like how they look.
