Normal Operating RPM's
At 65 mph on what should the rpms be at on a 98 t/a with an a-4 tranny? I changed my fluid and it brought down the rpms to around 2200. It was slipping and shifting very crappy and the fluid change helped but with 150xxx on the tranny is this acceptable?

I was looking at mine last night as a matter of fact. I have an A4 with 3.23 rear end and I was running a hair under 2,000rpm at 65mph.
