Question about Column Shifter for 4L60E
Can anyone give me some advice as to how to go about doing the linkage setup for a 4L60E in a '55 Bel Air w/ column shifter? The shift linkages set back pretty far and I DO NOT want to cut a hole in my floor for a floor shifter.
Should I, could I maybe use the linkages out of say a Roadmaster or other B body?
The engine is an LS1 out of a '98 Camaro.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
John
