good idea? bad idea? Fiance's Bday gift...
Their is a john mayer and cheryl crow concert near her birth date this year in september...I know she and I are john mayer fans...dunno if she liks cheryl crow though. Just wondering if this would be a good gift or not?

Mayer for her, Crow for you. Then you get her (your fiance in bed that night) It's such a win-win, man!

I'm a lurker and felt like I needed to come out and post.
I bought my wife tickets to Tim and Faith Soul II Soul (sold out for weeks) tour for her birthday the day of the show. She loved it, made her happy for days! I am not a fan of Tim especially, but it was worth it for my wife.
I am not a spammer or advertiser, but check ebay, craigslist, and elivetickets.com
I found mine on elivetickets and they emailed them to me and were very friendly and helpful when I called. I got them about $20 bucks cheaper than face value as well.

You can always get ahold of tickets to a sold out show. Someone's always needing to get rid of tickets.

the thing that kills me is this line:
"lets do something special for my birthday.....you figure it out"

Women; can't live with them, can't live with them.
Yes most women think that their man is a mind reader.

OK OK OK OK! i got it....!
she's been griping about not going hiking/camping with me for a long time so now is the time to bust it out. I'm gonna call her work and request off a weekend for her birthday and then take her to a couple of KY cave tours. She'll dig it. I'll own her. Zbizkit said he'll help us by taking care of our pooch for a few days.

Now yer thinkin!
Buy her something you think she'll like, bring some candles and a bottle of wine and have a romantic campout! Spring the gift when you are having the campout dinner by candlelight!
They love this stuff!

turns out she has a fear of caves...WTF, somebody shoot me. I wanted to keep the damn thing a secret but she threatened my car seats with coffee if i didn't tell her what i had planned. Back to the drawing board.

man, if she's not going to work w/you and be open-minded to the fact you are doing your best, i suggest this. take her to Taco Bell, then back home, slap her ass for how many years old she is, kiss her on the cheek (if you find it necessary), then roll over and fall asleep. high expectations are a motherfucker...
