Nice. Two questions. With your hood do you notice a difference in temp. in the engine bay? and how much does a hood similar cost?

engine bay temperatures stay very cool. especially while driving. the hood cost 1200 shipped to my door. and this hood is only made by one company. www.mechamperformance.com makes them

Very nice!
My favorite hoods for the T/A, im biased though.
The hood does make a noticable difference in engine temps. You can get simmilar results by removing the rear hood to cowl rubber seal. It helps air flo through the radiator also by relieving the pressurized pocket in the engine bay during cruising and high speeds. Simmilar to the Shelby series one cars and the C5R Vette only on a smaller scale.
Mecham was just as much about function as they were appearance.Last edited by Jeremiah; 08-30-2007 at 08:14 PM.

Bought this T/A back in 2002 brand new when i was 20. since day one i started to mod it. i bought the car with 8 miles on it for $22,000 and had a couple of bolt ons at 15 miles. lol. the mod fest began after messing with a few different cam changes and several head changes, as well as many broken parts later, this is my final outcome until the winter of 07'.
