power window motor help

putting in a new power window (driver side) moter what am i in for ?

A lot of grief and agrivation!!! I believe there is a sticky posted with the procedure to do it? There's worse things to do (root canal), but there are many easier and better to do as well. Good luck.

have fun with that, motor has rivits to bracket, access sucks, had to replace mine, dont remenber all details, recall having to use hole saw for access to one of the rivits.

Its not that bad if you take your time. Don't cut any corners and be patient. It gets frustrating for some people because of the cramped space and the fact that GM did not in any way take into account you would need to change it someday.

You may look into our wiring kits to improve power. We are releasing a driver side kit within the next few weeks.
