quarter mile first
My first time taking my 98 ss on the track best time was a 13.4 couldn't get any traction my kumho's just spin in first and when I put her into second again just spun them but not back. I had a run after that one I'm sure would have almost hit 12.9 but I was cmi bracket racing I got a 13.7 but slammed on the breaks in the end so not to break my bracket my i3 speed was 83mph I hate the breaks pretty good that I eneded at only 85mph lol. My 13.4 was at 107 so I'm sure some better traction I'd get a lot better not bad for first time to a track I made it to the semi finals. Any suggestions guys?

First suggestion - drag radials and sub-frame connectors.
You really want to get the '60 foot time consistent -

If you are running those 3.73's in the stock 10 bolt it is weaker than stock. Traction will break it. I was in a similar situation with my 99' WS6 although it had 4:10's. It would go 13.2 at 108 on Nittos and spinn like hell. Usually about 2.1 60' times. Broke the rear 3 times on Nittos. That is why I stood with 3:42's in the Formula. Shorter gears make traction harder to get and the 10 bolt can't handle a hard launch.

got it off whoever head it before but some glue in there we took a propane torch and heated up the shift bar for a good minute then beat it with a hammer on the side and it came off pretty easy. You could see all the glue that was on there shift knobs a little messed up but that's ok only need it for about a week till the new on comes in thanks.

thats what I was thinking but I was yellow so I don't know. I took the car out and ran it a few times it gridded into second a little the first 2 times but once i got use to it i loved it reverse and 2nd to 3rd is so much better. My boot is all messed up though anyone know any good after market ones or how to fix the stock on the problem it the plastics for the edge are snapped in a few places I had it just kinda sitting there but now it being so low it pushes down and the boot is just sinking in.
