Pulling rods and rockers without motor removal
Might be a topic on this somewhere, but have not found it. Is it possible to remove valve covers, rods and rockers without pulling the motor? Not much room under there. I would like to check my push rods and check rockers.

There is no need to pull the motor to access the pushrods and rockers.
You shouldn't have any difficulty removing the valve covers, rockers and pushrods with the motor still in the car.

+1 it's actually really easy! I like to put my #1 piston at TDC too, just in case shit goes wrong you can start from scratch. Those rocker bolts are torqued down to like 22 ft. lbs. so get a piece of pipe when trying to loosen them. Or you could just smash our hands on the wiper cowl when they break loose!
