I need a lift
Ok, here's the story. My car has a lowering kit on it that drops it an inch or two. Couple of weeks ago I broke my torque arm and snapped my drive shaft at the track. I replaced the saft and installed a BMR torque arm with a cross member so I would not have to reconnect the torque arm to the transmission. The cross member has a dip in it to provide clearance for the exhaust. I now have about 2 inches of clearance under my car.
I'd like to keep my ride height for daily driving but be have the ability to lift the car when needed for clearance. Any recommendations?

They make coil over shocks that well allow you to adjust ride height. Sam this forum’s sponsor sells them they are called Variant 3 Coil-over kit.
Here is the link http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=20&ModelID=7 they are not cheap but it’s a fully adjustable suspension setup.Last edited by vetteemt; 06-17-2008 at 06:07 AM.

I don't know the brand of springs. The car is a dealer special with aftermarket springs, but I don’t know the brand. What I plan on doing this evening is measure the ride height of the springs and then jack up the car and get the uncompressed height just so I have a baseline to start from.
