    Cold air induction??

I have been looking at different CAI kits and saw this http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...products_id=33

My question is, where does it go??? Does anyone have one installed?? If I knew where it went I couldn't probably bend up my own. Also, what do you guys think of this package http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...products_id=82

I have the SLP flowpack and I like it. most people on here will tell you its not worth it though. It rests right next to the radiator I could probably take a picture to show you if you'd like. The one thing i wasn't crazy about was that you have to cut some plastic for the install.

If you get time you can snap a few. No hurry though. Just curious.

    Thanks

The reason people will say it's not worth it is the same plastic that you have to cut to make it fit is also what is known as doing the free ram air mod.

So, IMO, it's a waste of money to buy a "tunnel" to assist the air in flowing up there when it already is.

If you go to page three you will see some pics I posted of what I did.

so you opened up the front and the bottom?? With the CAI they supply you with a rubber piece that covers the front so that all air is coming from the bottom.

I didn't know the kits closed off the front, that's weird.

I just figure, the more open it is, the less restriction there is for the air getting into you engine. That's why I opened the front up. And we all know, the more air that can get in there the better the performance. As long as it's not hot air, of course.

And since the ram air system doesn't really do anything until above 100mph. The best mod, IMO, is allowing the engine to breath easier.

That was another option as well. Just taking in as much info as I can before making a decision : )
