Fuel filter replacement...how long?
How hard is it to replace the fuel filter? I don't even think I know where it is, and I sure as hell know it hasn't been replaced in the last 4 years!

It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Located in front of the rear axle on the driver side.
Be prepared to have gas all over you.

First off, Make sure and use line wrenches so you dont strip anything.
1.Get the car on a lift or jackstands
2.Open gas cap to relieve pressure
3.Use your 2 line wrenches to loosen the line
4.Use flathead for the 2 clips at the other end
4.Be prepared for a gas shower =/ (worst part)
5.Put new filter on and you are good to go =)

The second time I did it, I bled the valve on the fuel rail first before taking of the filter. That seemed to reduce the amount of fuel that spills out.

I'm not really sure. I've done it about every six months.

you can also start the car then pull the fuse for the fuel pump and you won't get alot of gas on you.
