MSD stacker Ignition
I just bought a new MSD stacker 8 ignition bolt on for my Z28(LS1). I got it on ebay, it was a good deal and I could not resist. Now I am asking myself if this is snakeoil. Any thoughts before I bolt this into my ignition?

I looked the stacker 8 ignition up and these things have a suggested retail of $744! The claim is improved spark at high rpm due to capacitive discharge. I was under the impression that modern ignitions systems do not benefit from spark intensifiers because they are already beyond adequate. I put a Mallory Hyfire on my 95. It wasn't to improve the ignition power but to provide rpm and nitrous switch control. Maybe I'm wrong about improving the spark so if you install yours and see some kind of gain please post up the results.
