I am a little confused. Whats the differences between a trans am, firehawk, firebird, and a WS6? I know the WS6 has the hood suspension and a few things. But what about the rest?

all birds start off as firebirds(v-6 platform), then they can be upgraded to a formula, Trans am, or Firehawk,

Formulas are like a base model v8, but some will have the ws6 package,


Trans Ams are the same motor with usually more luxury options, and more often times have the ws6 package (wheels, tires, hood, suspentions, and a claimed gain in hp)


Firehawks are a more performance based platform of a trans am,

Just to add.

Cosmetics:
Formulas (base V-8) and Firebirds (V-6) have the same front end with a lowered rear spolier like the covertible editions have.

Trans Ams, Firehawks and WS-6s have a different front end, added side skirts, different rear bumper and rear hatch.

Trans Ams and WS-6 differences:
Hood, air box, a couple suspension pieces, wheels and badging.

Firehawk
Like a WS-6, but a differnt hood all together. There might be a few other differences, but I will let someone else expound upon it for you.
