    What rears and how strong?

Im not new to any LS1s or anything of that nature, however Ive never owned a Vette before and Im looking to get a 97 since its the first LS1 and will be the cheapest to purchase and still be mod friendly

my question is, how strong are the rears and axles etc in these vehicles?
I hope that they are nothing like the camaro and trans am rears...

    thanks guys

Well, I can only speak from owning my 98 C5. I have been running between a 100 and a 150 wet nitrous shot,(knock on wood) have not had a problem.

The rear axle assembly is strong, the axle shafts can be the weak link if your running serious power.
