What kind of transmission do I have?
I have a 98 T/A (not WS6) with a A4 and I was wondering how do I find out what kind of transmission # I have?

A 98 T/A with A4 should be the 4L60E.
98 T/A: HPE 5.3 Heads, 238/242 113 cam, Kooks 1 7/8 stepped LT headers, Custom Y pipe, Cut out, Borla, NW 90MM TB, FAST 90MM Intake, TB Bypass, Under Drive Power steering and Crank, 150 Dry NOS, Yella Terra rockers, 3400 TC, HPE tuning,

There all 4l60E except for the later vettes 4l65E.
The later the year the better the parts I;ve heard.
I.E. I've heard the GTO has some of the parts of the 4l65E
