I would like to think it is fair since my LE has only a few more miles than that and I paid a whole lot less than that. ( make me fell like I made a good deal. LOL)
But this market is a buyers market and I would not give that for it. You can find a non LE SS with around the same miles for a lot less if you just be patient and do not jump in too quickly.

Yeah famous last words, do you know how hard it is not to jump in headfirst when you see something you want? Specially a car!
It looks sweet..Besised going to go look at it, how can I tell what options it has like suspension or diff or something other than just cosmetic?
I think in my research SLP did various amounts of modifcations to the SS cars. Since its a small dealer i doubt he knows about the specifics of this car..
Any where specific i can check?
This same dealer also has this other Triple Black Z28 for 12k..
Class CONVERTIBLE
SALE PRICE $12,951
Mileage 59,733
Stock # 22390
Year 2000
Color ONYX BLACK
Interior Color EBONY
Engine 5.70L V8
Transmission 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC
VIN 2G1FP32G8Y2170742
In theory which one of these cars do you think represent the best value considering the car, miles and price..?
THANK YOU ALL..

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Might be a little high on the LE, but not grossly overpriced.

2002 C5 - M6 - Blue- 2000 Z28 - A4 - Pewter
I paid $4500 for my Z, not many options, but it's exactly how I wanted it, with the exception of the interrior. Its a 2000 - Hardtop - Auto - Cloth - 108k, I've seen other Z's locally, modded and not modded for around $7k-$9k with 80k miles or less, leather and t-top cars. That's not to say that they're not as nice, but who knows
I'd look around on craigslist, autotrader, and places such as those. Eventually, you'll find just what you're looking for at a decent price. Like Dabom said, this is a buyer's market

I'd offer them $15,5 on it and see where it goes from there.

there are bunch of real nice ones on EBAY...
this looks nice.. I asked him if the interior was original because it doesnt look like the leather on the seats is really tight, looks a little baggy..
One last question, where do you go to get statistics on these cars? Is there a website or registy that gives you year by year options, models etc? Being a newbie to the F-body craze, its hard to tell fakes from true cars.

Figures they show the door jam but not the codes.
You can run the vin and get the options that way, or you can look in the camaro section on this forum and tell konigandy6 the vin and he will give you some info on the car.

The price on the anniversary model doesn't seem all that bad to me. Even in this current market, the hard to find and obscure vehicles are still going to bring decent money. The people that own them know it, and will sit on it until it's sold.
Like Kahana said, offer $15K and see where that goes. You're not likely to get it any cheaper. And those that actually appreciate a car of that stature will surely pay it.
Others that don't care will go for a Z28 and save some coin. Guess you have to ask yourself what you really want.

Maybe it's me, but that 35th SS is pretty cheap. I have seen them on eBay for 19k and up. I agree with Kahanareef. Offer $15,5 and sit back.

I got an answer from the ebay seller for the blue convertible with the white interior.. Here is what he said.. Why he didnt put this info on the ebay add i dont know.. souds shady to me..
Thanks for your interest in the Camaro. We're not the original owners. We bought it used in 2006 from a local dealer that sells a lot of classics, muscle cars, etc. It does not have the SLP birth certificate, as it came as an "off the assembly line" SS, without any additional SLP content or alterations. The chrome SLP SS wheels were added afterwards, as well as the SLP Performance Pack. The seat covers and door panel inserts were added by a previous owner. You're right, in that the leather pattern is more like a 1993-96 style seat, versus 1997-02. The car does have the factory undercoating along the rocker panels and rear wheelwell and trunk areas, but that's it... no additional aftermarket undercoating. I'd occassionally wash down the undercarriage, and Armor All does wonders in keeping it looking fairly clean under there.

I think what he means is the car is an SS that doesn't have any additional SLP options such as floor mats, CME, wheels, etc.....
Sounds like some things have been changed on the car though for what ever reason I don't know. Not something I would consider personally.
Up to you, if you really want a vert they are a bit more difficult to find, especially in an SS, and tend to be priced a little higher. So it's hard to be as picky.
