Purge
How important is it to have a purge set up?

not real important. when i didn't have one, i would purge through the motor during the burnout.

technically, you only have air in the line when you disconnect the bottle from the line. other than that, what you are doing is getting liquid nitrous up to the solenoid. over time, due to heat, the nitrous in the line turns into a gas form. you only want that to happen when it hits the nozzle. the nitrous doesn't seperate from the nitrogen until about 650*F.

Definately helps it hit harder, ive actually stopped using my purge to help keep from shocking the tires so much when I spray.

So bottom line is it worth getting?
Im most likely going to get an RPM window to lock it out of first gear only.

in that case, no. again, you can just purge through the motor while doing the burnout and you're good to go.

What do you mean purge through a burnout if I got no purge?
-

as you do your burnout, you turn on the nitrous system and use it for a second or two.

Yea but if I have the window switch and lock it out of 1st gear how would it work?

it wouldn't. for got about the first gear lockoout. just don't worry about the purge.
