Co-worker murdered
As far as I know, the police have not released his name.
Here is the story.
No one at work really knows what happened. He was the nicest guy. A really funny guy that would easily make you smile no matter what kind of day you were having. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone.
He was 41 or 42.
I remember several times as he would walk out the door, I'd yell his name and have him come back, only to ask him "how far could you be if I hadn't called your name?" The first time he feel for it. The second time, he caught himself as he was walking over.
I'm unsure of his family situation. I don't think he had kids, or a wife. He kept his personal life personal. He came to work with us as a contractor a few months ago and did such a great job and was so great to have around that they hired him directly.
He will be missed.
RIP

Thanks guys.
Where he was found was not the nicest part of town for sure. There have been some indications I guess that he wasn't killed there.
It could have been drugs, but I really don't think it was. He just doesn't seem to be the type of guy that would use drugs.
I just don't know. We're having a memorial service for him tomorrow after noon. He's only lived in the area for about 1 year or so.

His memorial service was this afternoon. His funeral will be in another city where he is from.
He was such a great guy. He never left anyone worse off than he found them. He always had a smile and was more concerned about other people than he was for himself.
He will be sorely missed. I haven't seen so many grown men cry in a while.
