Need Help with selecting a cam
What has worked for you guys cam wise? i have about 4000 to spend and i want to stay n/a, 1200 of that is going to body work. Iam getting a fast intake and 42lb injectors, ud pulley, ported oil pump, and iam porting my heads (thats free). I just need to know a cam and what i need for the cam. Iam also a A4 but i have a 3500 stall already so iam good in that department.

I was thinking about this combo
Torquer V2 114 LSA
COMP 918 Springs
Heavy Duty LS6 Ported Oil Pump
Gasket Kit
Double Roller Timing Chain
TSP Hardend 7.400 Rods
What do you think?

thats the same set up that i went with and i absolutely love that set up,
i wouldn't go with a 114 LSA personally it wont be choppy enough, go for the 1122000 B4C Special Service Package Z28 - Kooks 1&7/8 Stepped 2'' - TSP Torquer V.2 - FAST 92/92 - BDR 4000 Conveter - Xtreme Trans Stage II - Full UMI Suspension - Pacesetter LT's - Comp Drag Shocks - Magnaflow - Cutout - ZO6 MAF - FTP LID - Street Tuned -

I've seen more people go with 112 too. That's a decent cam choice.

personally. i dont like it too choppy. id go for the 114 or 113. you will probably lose power up high though

Get a Lingenfelter Oil pump, out flows the LS6 P&P and is $60 cheaper. I have it and my oil pressure is 75 PSI at idle.

The T2 on a 114 will chop plenty in an automatic.
The double roller isn't necessary for a cam only car. Throw a $45 LS2 chain in it and call it a day. I've used LS2 chains in 500-600HP builds with no problems.
The rest of your parts list looks good.
