Mustang kill stories vs. Camaro kill stories
And not Camaro/Challenger/Charger?
Is it more fun to just beat on Mustangs?
In all serious, I want to know. I want to know that if I pull up to a new Camaro playing around, whether I am going to get beat or not.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this or am I alone on this?
I don't even want to hear about a race with a Mustang anymore, boring!!

Yeah it should probably be moved there. But I just wanted general opinions on why there are more mustang kill stories than the new camaro's.

Because the mentality is can't race something we don't feel confident in beating

New camaro's here in oklahoma are a dime a dozen here. Can't go a mile without seeing ten. Same with mustangs. But so far, a majority of them are my parents age.

Now where is the fun in that Luos??? If everyone did that, it would be pretty boring.
I'm not skeeer'd I'll run anything that wants to play.
Even played with cars (friends) that had 150 more HP than I did (legit 10 second cars) and still put them away with an 11 second ride, even a 13 second ride in one case . Some guys just can't drive. You never know unless you try.

I agree with Firebird. You gotta race them all, or nothing. There are sensible limits, of course. Crotch rockets come to mind. I remember running down a Lambo last year. Older lady driving, couldn't get away from me. I was grinning when I went by. Even some of the slow cars will surprise you now and then. It's all in good fun.

Well put sir, this is what everyone should think before posting another "can I win this race" thread. I agree that mustang kill stories have gotten boring. What makes them interesting is the idiotic owner comments afterwards. Now Cobra kill stories is what I'de like to see more of, also some C5 or C6 kills and maybe a Viper challenge would be different. Supra and built STI kills would be interesting too.

the reason is that the Mustang drivers for the most part are young kids who dont know what real power is, they get their first car and think man this thing is fast without ever knowing any other car, like i said most of them - some are more knowledgeable then others and some are cooler people then others, but the kills do get boring, i will race anything thats wants to race as well, and hey if i get beat then fine i am man enough to take it and say congratulations to the winner, to me its all about the feel of that power coming on and the roar of the engine when it hits red line, lol - its in my bloood!
