88 GTA convertible
somebody buy it and fix it!
this is the very first time I even seen one.
supposedly the ecm is shot, engine and tranny replaced 4k miles ago, 8x xxx miles on the body
I soooooo want to pick it up but I just can't
AFAIK there were only 104 made that year!
I think at least I'll go there and take some pictures. I don't wanna waste the owner's time, he sounds like a good guy, I spoke with him on the phone.

Check to see if the motor has bvween swapped- in '88 you cold only get the 350 with the hardtop. T-Top and verts had the 305.

That was the first car I wanted when I got my license. GTA in black/tan, burgundy/tan, white/tan or charcoal/tan(EXTREMELY rare).

I love those cars. I had one, a 88 that was gunmetal grey with grey leather. Awesome car, it had the L98 TPI 350 and digital dash. The gold wheels looked awesome with the grey.
Fun car too, it handled better than my 4th gen.

Black- 1997 Firehawk LT4
If someone wants one closer to the east coast...
$5500 will take this one home.. Non GTA 305/auto, digital dash, 4th gen rear with discs and 3.73s, shaved handles and side markers, etc, etc.
It's got a computer or wiring issue right now. It runs fine for a while, the the SES light comes on (code reader loses connection when the light comes on ) and it runs like poop...until you hit a bump, when it runs great again. I don't have time to fool with it anymore.

if its stock convertibles only came with 305. very few factory 350s were made. same with sticks. can only get a 350 with a 700R4 automatic.
