I don't know jack
Does anyone know of a good, lo-pro, long reach floor jack? I'd like one that will reach my K-member and still be easy to work the handle. I got the usual Sears jacks, just looking for something that will make life easier. Also, if anyone would like a brand new valve cover breather for LS1 Camaro, let me know. Pay the shipping and it's yours.

I found the best solution to to buy a set of the Blitz RhinoRamps their either #11000 or #12000, then if you do need the car up higher you'll have no issues using your current jack, this is quicker than just jacking it up. BTW, my car is also lowered.

My 2.5ton low profile jack from Harbor Freight works great.

I hear the Costco jacks are also pretty low profile, though I have yet to try one myself.

Not trying to jack the thread(no pun intended) but how high does it go up to? My current one only goes up to 14" but my bottle jack goes up to 20 some inches but I hate it. The bottle is annoying.because I have to use the 14" to be able to get the bottle jack under the car to use it. Anyone know of a low profile jack that goes up to 24 inches or so?

I drive on ramps and jack from there. I can't even get under the air dam without being on some blocks. For a Jack I have a craftsman 4 ton. It lifts nice and high, but the you have to pump the hell out of it for the size of jack it is to move much. I recommend not getting a craftsman jack.

My Craftsman jack needs rebuilt. It slowly drops down over time. The movement is imperceptible. It might lower an inch over the course of an hour.

I have a small Harbor Freight aluminum jack in our garage at Beaver Springs. Works just fine.
