Grille
ok so i really hate my black grille that says camaro. ive seen camaros with the body color grille with the gaps on each side. i havent had a chance to check but if i remove that black grille would that expose the body colored grille? i plan on buying that gloss black grille with the bowtie sometime but not in the near future like this winter.

Triple Black- 2000 Camaro SS 'vert
Other than the the attachment holes being exposed I like the way it looks when the factory piece is removed. There is a way to get it off without destroying it but since I was never going to use it again, mine was trash when I got done because I had to cut it out to put a new billet grille in.

I hated mine too and got a billet grille. To remove it pull on each side, then pull from the bottom, then the top. Sounds harsh but mine just came out with a little muscle and didn't hurt anything. If I remember correctly there's 3 clips on the bottom and 2 at the top.

i like the way it looks even with the "mounting" holes. my buddy got an after marked bumper cover, it still says camaro, but it doens't have the mounting holes, just looks more agressive imo.

just pull the shit out of the top and bottom, it'll come out. takes about 3 minutes to do.

Sunset Orange Metallic- 2002 Camaro SS M6
I just ordered an aluminum billet grille off Ebay, powdercoated it, and bought an emblem off a 69 Chevelle and slapped it all together.

lose the emblem, or paint it to match your car.. that'd be sweet.

no way, that would lose the "classic" feel. The 69 Camaros came with only the BLUE bowtie, if not an SS or RS emblem.

so if you remove the plastic grille that says camaro on it, it will expose just a body colored grille w/ the clips?

it is a body colord "grille" clips don't show, but there's "slots" for the clips. i think it looks bad ass. i like it better than the smooth "body colored" grille
