LS1 Fuel upgrade
Good day to all....
On a good note i have my sweetheart purrin and runnin strong at the moment.
My question is, i have a FAST fuel rails, i will be gettin new injectors, but i need the accessories to complete the kit...Does anyone know of a kit that is purely plug and play, where i get all the little details, like the plug adaptor for the stock output, the non returnin fuel regulator and cross over hose...
Lookin forward to your replies

You again LOL....I went with the 255 Walboro pump...replaced the hose from the tank ( The factory sucked...very restrictive) did the bucket mod...I maintain 62lbs of pressure at the fuel rails throughout the RPM range....
Hoses just came from NAPA w/AN fittings...and we used the Ford injectors....it was plug and play..

Yes i am like your mother in law, i pop up when you least expect it....
Anyways, what about the fuel regulator? Or you went without one?
As for the fuel pump, i dont know if i wanna fool around with it...I have heard many scary stories where ther pump failed and thus the engine as well...

Well even if your not going to replace pump you NEED to replace feed line as it is factory kinked from assembly line.
On the regulator tip......... It's regulated inside of the stupid bucket. You can regulate up front but that would require you to run a return line back to the tank. Which is posiable and know of people doing it but you'll also need someone to boost the pressure setting in the pcm. If you go that route MANY companies offer a universal return regulator. That just limits the return enough to keep pressure where you want it. Hope I helped.
The fitting you need for the pressure line coming off the firewall is made by Russel-Part #640850 available from Summit or Jegs every now and then. It makes the line come off with a male -6 AN fitting for your hose end going to rail. There has been time periods where on back order for a month or two.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

That is odd, i found that there is a non return reg on my stock lines...
I hate GM, they make things so complicated when they could be so simple...
Thanx for the help though, i will keep you posted on my progress
