There are times I think to myself - At least I'm not as crazy as some people. And those people probably think - At least I'm not as crazy as those people in the loony bin. And those people in the loony bin probably think - At least I'm an orange.

No idea, I'm not a morning person....she comes in like the energizer bunny with sunshine & rainbows beaming out of her. She has a 1/2 day form school and knows this so that's why she was in a good mood. Normally she's worse then me.....could pass for a Zombie with an attitude. I seriously didn't tell her to GTFO but sure did thought it

Living on the coast you always have a bull's eye. Good thing your post did is remind me to start rebuilding my emergency prep kits.
About 70-80% of the ppl here wait till a week out of hurricane season to get stuff so everything jumps in price if one is predicted to hit us. Bottle water and some other stuff needs to be updated. Gas I fill up all my cans and over the summer I start using them in the lawn mower to freshen them up other wise it goes bad. The generator I drain fuel out after every use and pull it out 3-4x's a year to run it for about 10-15 mins to make sure it's all good.
Unless it's a solid CAT III we stay, if it gets higher, start running....According to our neighbors when Ivan hit P-cola our area was out of power for 2-3 weeks.
