I got a suggestion for Cali microstamping requirements, looks something like this:

They should also stop selling to and refuse to perform any warranty work for all local and state agencies.

I'd say a solid amount of law enforcement uses the M&P's...the only other ones are probably Berratta's or Glocks. It would be interesting if cops had to drop S&W all together because of this...

Cops carry springfield XD guns as well. The 3 big striker fire duty guns are the m&p, XD or XDM and the glocks from what I've seen.

Yea you are right...I was actually reading last night that something happened like 5-6 years ago with the M&P in Cali so some of the California offices switched over to Springfield XD's. It looks like it was a jamming issue because of the cartridges they were using...I own a M&P and I have never had a jam since I bought it. I'd trust my life to it any day of the week...

...if the citizens "can't" have the guns, then the police shouldn't either... i want to see the companies refuse to sell to CA LEO, ...just like ronnie barret did.. the whole thing is an unconstitutional gun grab... like i've said before, ....if the gun grabber fascists can't outright "ban" something, they try to suffocate it, ...this has the same goal as hitler cuomo's "safe act" (who's 7 rnd limit was ruled arbitrary and capricious, unconstitutional), colorado's 15 rnd limit, etc. there's no "compromising" w/ these people...

I can foresee that if this succeeds in Kali states like NY will implement a version of this too.

I'm not even sure how long they think that microstamping pin will last. I've heard a lot of people say it will wear out fairly quickly.

Yeah, the law/proposal is stupid, and too bad SW is leaving. For most recreational shooters it would probably wear out. And from criminals, they'll just file it off or get a new firing pin, which is dirt cheap.
