Pewter Metallic- 2000 Chevy Camaro Z28
Adjustable Panhard Rod Question!!!
I will be lowering my car with the eibach pro-kit and have read in a couple of threads that I probably need an adjustable panhard rod. Why is it suggested?? Is it for alignment purposes? I know the car would handle better with it but is it a must with the pro-kit? I also got the KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts. what do you guys think about this set up? and one last question...how stiff do i set my shocks once i get the springs installed?? the knob on them reads form 1-8....8 being the stiffest. Thanks
SLP Air lid...Magnaflow Catback...Amsoil high flow air filter, TB bypass...KYB AGX adjustable shocks and struts...Strano Performance Springs...Double Adjustable Panhard Bar...a lot more to come!!

Not sure about the ride...
But the adjustable panhard will keep your rearend centered. When you drop the car, the angles change and the panhard can get it back straight.

Buddy of mine put an eibach kit on his car - kept the stock PHB and LCAs. I'd wait and see if you need one.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
IIRC, an adjustable panhard rod will help center the rearend and an adjustable torque arm is required to set the pinion angle to other than stock.
Relocation brackets are put on lowered cars to reorient the pinion and trailing arms to their proper relationship with respect to the pinion angle (if you're reusing the stock TA) and to help prevent wheel-hop.

people over at LS1tech have also recommended LCAs and recolation brackets...and also stated that some people have complained about the eibach pro kit sagging. Can anybody offer any more input on this??

I have heard that about the ProKit as well.
I have had no problem with mine. I wonder if it isn't something to do with the struts/shocks?
I am sure Eibach would warrenty them if you can prove a problem as well. At least one would think.
Any dropped car really should get the relocation brackets and panhard at the least. Keep the suspension proper after the angle chance of the drop.
Some nice LCA's would hurt either.
Make sure the panhard is adjustable, or you won't be able to perperly center the rearend.

With the ProKit, I wouldn't waste my money on the KYB's. They won't handle the spring rates.
I am still running the stockers. I know I can't for much longer. I will be getting revalved Bilsteins.
The ride isn't as bad as I expected, but it isn't smooth.

I'm shopping for rear suspension as well.. but I'm not planning on dropping mine.. I want LCAs, TQ, and PHR... do I WANT adjustable on any/all of them? I also need the TQ arm to be able to work with True Duals.. thats a hard one..(Sorry to hijack, just seems a few people know what they are talking about lol)

For a stock height car that will not be getting dropped....
Adjustable torque arm.
Everything else can be non-adjustable if you want.
