'00 Mint NBM SS/8700 miles
I'm thinking of selling my 2000 navy blue met. SS. It is a 6sp, black leather, monsoon, t-tops, every other option less 12 disc cd changer. SLP chrome 5 spoke wheels, good rubber(7/32s). Lots of bolt ons(also have all orignal parts). Maintained by gm tech. Only has 8700 miles and is in mint condition. Email me for more info.

are you kidding me, you probably barely paid 31K for the car and now you want to sell it used for that much... GOOD LUCK!!

I have thousands more in it. It just sits in my garage and I don't really need to sell it....
that doesn't sound like a wasteful comment a mod would post.....guess this site has gone downhill.....

Dang, sounds very nice! Hope you can get that out of it, but I don't know. I traded my 02 SOM WS6 in w/ 15,000 miles & only got $17,500 out of it!

Not meant as a dig, just pointing out a fact. The car new is MAYBE $30,000 even with the options.
Plus you've put almost 10k miles on the car.
It's a good thing you don't have to sell the car because at that price you won't. Again not an opinion it's a fact.

Dropped to $29K This is a very nice car. Has macs/custom y pipe/dynomouth exhaust(have original manifolds)....Remote control pwr ant. GM 4.10s(also have original 3.42s) a few mods to name, no internal engine mods....
May consider trade for a 4wd backhoe/loader of equal value. (Case 580, Cat 416c, Deere 310/410)
thanks

Man, not to whore up your thread, but they say you can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which fills up faster. I saw a 99 Hugger Orange vert over on ls1tech for $18,700 with 12k miles on it, white leather, white top, auto. It is a 1 of 1 car. That car is rare and in good condition. He still hasn't sold his car. I don't think it is possible you will find sombody stupid enough to even consider paying 29k for a NBM car. They are a dime a dozen, shure nice low milleage ones are a little hard to find but IT IS NOT A COLLECTOR CAR. I'm not trying to be an A$$ but untill you drop that price down below 20k the car will not sell.

Yeah man to each his own but for $29k you can find a nice C5, look hard enough and you can find a C5 Z06 with some miles on it for a few grand more.

I think you should take a hint by what everyone that has posted in this thread feels about your price. I don't even know why I care, but it is getting pretty damn old seeing people like yourself asking more for the car than when it was new. As sombody said earlier you can find a nice 02+ Z06 for around your price, no seriously who the hell would want a NBM 00 SS over a Z06 for the same price? Obviously the car is worth to than anyone else would every pay, so I would just keep it.

Part of being in this group/forum is to help each other out with as many things as possible. Warning another member of an overpriced vehicle for sale, one which is priced OVER what a dealer would want is part of helping other members out. Just my .02

Hey I look at it this way.If he wants to try to sell it for that price so be it.It is not hurting us one bit it if anything it helps the value of are cars.Goodluck with the sale but you better be ready for some negativity with that price I will say that.

Looks like he has been bugged off by the posts. If the majority of people on LS1Tech and this site trying to sell their cars were paying attention to the market, the would know they are not going to get their asking price. F-Bodies just flat out aren't selling right now for decent money. Anything priced over $20,000 better have extremely low mileage (less than 10,000), be ridiculously clean and cared for and come with a 5'10 blonde wearing a thong and high heels ready to service you! I wish everybody luck trying to sell their cars, but as "Firehawk" said, these are factual statements....
