hypertech tune erase my dyno tune?
Hey I saw this question before but cant find it now. I have a dyno tune on my car and am installing a rear with 4.10 gears tomorrow. I want to use my hypertech programmer to set it for the new gear ratio. In doing so, will i erase/ruin my original dyno tune? Thanks

i dont think so, it will do so if you adjust spark or fuel trims with the hand held, but if you only go in there and change the gear ratio it theoretically shouldn't change any engine-related parameters
i could be wrong, but this is my logical out look on the matter

Agree, just don't do the power tune and you'll be fine. You can adjust everything else. Gear ratios, shift points, ect...

Why not just have a local shop just the gear setting in it for you for cheap. I dont know how hypertechs work like that but i dont know if i would risk it. I can change it for you if need be.
