Parents finally gave in
Ok so I finally convinced the parents into letting my buy a new exaust system. ( im only 17 and still have to get their permision for about everything) anyways so I decided on the borlas and noticed they are like 850 bucks. I MEAN SHIT. Is there any other way I could get them cheaper? Or does any one have a nice new set. That they would like to sell cheap
Thx Mike

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
I bought mine on my local Craigs list. It only had 5000 miles put on it and I got it for $300. Might be a good place to look?

Like Jay00ss you can get good deals if you find them fast enough...there's also good catbacks like magnaflow for half the price.

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
well just fyi it will be completely different than in a mustang. mustangs always have deeper tones.
what kinda mustang was it? stock or modded? if it had a different cam, the cam played a huge part in the sound too. u have an aluminum block, im pretty sure all mustangs cept for the cobras had iron blocks, so that will be a huge sound difference...
bores and strokes are different too i believe...
so really, if i were u, id look up sounds for ls1 aftermarket mufflers. not just aftermarket mufflers in general
nothin against u or borla, just sayin u may be able to save money and still get the sound u want

yea it was a completely moded 2005 GT. but see IDN what to get. i want to know like what the community thinks sounds best. borla was what everyone said to get. i mean im sorta a noob to the car world considering i just turned 17. What would be the best exhaust sytem out there under 700??

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
Personally unless I find an amazing deal on a used set will mostly likely just be going to a shop and asking about getting a custom build.

i have a magnaflow and love it but i also have LT's and ORY with no cats. if you're gonna spend that much go with GMMG. magnaflow and hooker make good catbacks for these cars.
FYI its IDK not IDN

but like i said, any muffler u get, the thing thats gonna alter your sound just as much or even more, is the cam. so the sound ur lookinfor might not be attainable with just exhaust, or maybe u can get it with a cheaper exhaust set and improve it even more later with the cam.
