arctic white- 98/2000 trans am/ c5
need your opinion on my wheel spacer set up
i have a stock 98 trans am arctic white chrome 16" wheels. ok i can not stand the way the wheels are hidden in the back quarter panels.so to cure this problem is to bring the wheels out a bit. so i put new arp wheel studs 2 1/2 " and 1/2 " wheel spacers on,replacing the 2" wheel studs so the studs are plenty long enough. wow now it looks like i want. but here's my question ,now remember the whole car is stock and i'm know hot rodder . what do you guy's think of this set up on the safety side of it and has any one tried it with wheel spacers.or am i just worrying to much.

I'm looking to do a similar thing with my 99 vette wheels. I've been told the adapters ar a better way too go but the smallest thickness I could find was 1". After seeing a few pics I believe the wheel sticks out too far. A couple others I've talked to have done the longer studd and spacers and it looks much better.
I'm no expert but I think as long as your not road racing it should be fine.
