Maroon- 95 Firebird
Possible Parting Out...
I have a 95 Firebird that was hit in the front pass side this past Friday. I started to take a closer look at the damage, and since I don't have collision on my insurance, I'm up the creek without a paddle. Due to the age of this car, it's not really worth fixing. Sure, for about $1000 I could fix it, but I'd rather toss that money towards a new one (or newer one).
Anyway, I'm wondering, what would a 95 3.4L V6 go for?
It's got 93K miles on it with an auto trans.
The engine is in great shape. No leaks, no mech. probs.
The only mechanical problem the car had before impact was an ABS sensor. --not the reason for the impact.
Thanks,
Justin

Hmm, unfortunately you could probably only get a few hundred for it. This is what I'm basing my pricing off of.

No problem. Found it back in the days of gathering info on a potential swap. Do you know what you are going to do with the car?

Maroon- 95 Firebird
The verdict is in now that I have my 85 Fiero back up and running.
I'm going to part it out. I'm going to take a few pictures of everything and begin dismantling.
If the engine doesn't go, I'm going to garage it and possibly look at a 3.4 swap for my Fiero.
Things worth mentioning:
Leather seats, power accys, T-tops, 10" JBL sub woofer, Monsoon stereo... all up for sale.

I like that idea. You could build it better when its out. A 3.4 powered Fiero would be fun. What color interior do you have in the Firebird? I've been contemplating putting in a new headliner, but with 93K on the car your headliner is probably around the same as mine.

How bad is the damage, any pics? I'd say 500-1500

if you are really going to part the car out..i would be very interested in some parts and/or maybe the whole car if there is a good price involved, as i too have a 95 maroon v6 that has been hit and needs the entire driver side of the car replaced from the headlights to the rear quarterpanel. im not on here much but if you get pics up id like to see whats up for grabs, esp. the drivers side stuff...but anyways send a PM if you are interested and ill give you my email for the pics and maybe some further discussion...thanks
later,
Andy
